For more than 20 years, DeKalb Township has supported and partnered with our local social service agencies by allocating town funds to ensure our residents have access to the comprehensive services they need.
Are You a Social Service Agency?
On an annual basis, DeKalb Township Board budgets funds to support local social service agencies. These township and agency partnerships are vital to our residents and are key to keeping our community healthy and serving our residents well. The township’s goal in supporting these partner agencies is to ensure that all the residents of the township have access to help beyond just their financial needs. Our 2020 partner agencies include:
- Adventure Works
- Barb City Manor
- Barb Food Mart
- Community Coordinated Child Care (4C)
- DeKalb County Community Gardens
- Family Service Agency of DeKalb County, Inc.
- Kishwaukee YMCA
- Salvation Army
- Voluntary Action Center (VAC)
The annual grant applications are now closed. Applications were due by August 3, 2020. Stay tuned or contact us for next year's applications.
