Road Crew Works to Restore Oakwood Cemetery

Here are some photos of current work going on at Oakwood Cemetery. This historic cemetery has been continually evaluated for improvement and restoration under the direction of Highway Commissioner Craig Smith working in partnership with our Township Supervisor, Nancy Teboda. Road Closure Notice

Please see the important announcement from Highway Commissioner Smith: Rich Road will be closed daily from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm beginning on 7/13/2020 through the next 2 weeks as the DeKalb Township Road Crew makes repairs to Rich Road from Annie Glidden to Nelson Road. Please choose alternate routes during these improvements to your township roads.

Spring Road Closures

Craig Smith, DeKalb Township Highway Commissioner, announces that spring road closures are in effect beginning Monday, March 2, 2020. The posting limits are 8,000 pounds per axle for single tired vehicles, 11,000 pounds per axle for duals with a maximum gross weight of 33,000 pounds on designated roads.
