As one of the stakeholders in the 211 Program, DeKalb Township just received our second update regarding utilization of the program. There were 140 calls placed between October-December of 2017, of which DeKalb Township was a frequent match for services, particularly for rent/utility assistance.

The word is getting out on the effectiveness of this resource, but please pass along the number to anyone who needs help getting connected to social services in DeKalb Township.
